I am the first one to admit that when I’m in the gym…I hate leg day. Not sure why it’s that much different than any other workout, but it’s the one I always dread. What’s funny is that I actually have more strength and power in my lower body. Ask anyone who has known me for any length of time…they (my friend Susie and others…) used to call “Maddy Muscles” for my lack of power in my arms.
So for me I have to find exercises that make leg day entertaining in some manner. One way I’ve found is in “pyramiding” the reps (going from 1 to 10 and back down.)
Here is the only way I can get through a set of lunges. Hope this helps those of you who are like me and looking for any excuse to miss the chance to work those legs!
